An Ambassador is someone who lovingly leads a virtual small group inside The Purple Room — holding sacred, unhurried space where people can be heard, not fixed. You’re not there to teach or perform. You’re there to create a safe place where God can do the real work.

You guide the group gently through a simple flow — a little breathwork, an opening prayer, and time for each person to share while others listen with love. You’re not solving anyone or handing out advice. You’re keeping the space warm, safe, and unhurried, and trusting the Holy Spirit to move. We give you a flow guide that walks you through every step, so you’re never guessing.

Not at all. This isn’t about credentials — it’s about presence. If you have a tender heart, a listening ear, and a willingness to hold space without rushing to fix, you already have what matters most. We’ll provide the rest.

We’re looking for Spirit-led people who’ve walked through something hard and now feel a quiet pull to help others feel less alone. People who listen more than they speak. People who don’t need to have all the answers — just a heart to hold space and trust God with the rest.

Yes. Honestly, some of the most beautiful Ambassadors are the ones who are still on their own healing journey. Your story isn’t a disqualification — it’s your qualification. You don’t have to be “all better” to hold space for someone else. You just have to be willing to show up honestly.

It’s a gentle, relational process — not a hoop to jump through. First, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire. Then we’ll invite you to sign up for at least two Purple Room sessions as a participant — not as an audition, but so you can truly experience what it feels like to be an attendee in this space. After that, we’ll walk you through onboarding and your online training, which you move through at your own pace. Step by step, together.

It’s really just a conversation — and it happens after you’ve participated in at least two Purple Room sessions, so you’ve already had a chance to experience this space for yourself. A team of Ambassadors want to hear your heart. There are no trick questions and nothing to prepare. Come as you are — that’s all we’re ever looking for.

Yes.  Before you ever lead, you’ll be asked to participate in at least two real Purple Room sessions as a participant. Not as a tryout — as you. There’s no better way to learn how to hold this space than to first be held in it yourself.

Your training is the Ambassador Journey — seven simple, unhurried lessons we call the 7 Truths. You move through them at your own pace, each with a short teaching, a guided meditation, journal prompts, scripture, and prayer. You’ll also get a flow guide for leading sessions and our Code of Honor. It’s less of a course and more of a soft formation of the heart.

You’ll never be doing this alone. You’ll have a whole community of Believers walking right beside you — people who will love you, pray for you, and support you every step of the way. Honestly, we become like family. We stay connected  throughout the month and we gather for a monthly check-in call to encourage one another, share what God is stirring, and pray together. You are never carrying this on your own.

Yes. This is a heart-led volunteer role under our nonprofit, Soul Care Journey. You won’t be paid — but you also won’t pay a thing, and you’ll receive free access to everything along the way.

It’s gentle and doable. Sessions are an hour and beyond that it’s mostly staying connected with your group and showing up with a prepared heart. You’ll be highly encouraged to text and stay in touch on WhatsApp as often as you’d like — this is your community, and we want you to lean into it freely. We never want this to feel like a burden. It’s meant to be life-giving.

Sessions run about 60 minutes, and you’re welcome to lead as many as you’d like — there’s no cap on how much you pour in. We do our best to honor the hour and stay on time, because respecting people’s time is one of the ways we love them well. That said, there may be moments when things get heavy and you sense the group needs a little more room to breathe — and you’ll be able to read that and give it the grace it needs. We trust your heart to know the difference.

Life happens, and we get that. If you can’t make it, we simply ask that you find a replacement from the Ambassador list and let our point of contact know. Showing up matters here, because the people who come are counting on us — but we hold it all with grace.

None. You’re never required to pay or subscribe to anything. As an Ambassador, you receive free access to all of it.

Not at all. The Purple Room is fully virtual, and we have people joining from all over the world. We’ll just find session times that work for you and the people you’re serving.
