There is a lot of debate, myths and misguided information regarding homeschooling. Take a look at these statistics related to the promising hope of homeschooling:

Why should you homeschool if you live in one of the legal countries that allows you to teach your children?

Studies show that the home-educated are doing well, typically above average on measures of social, emotional, and psychological development.  Research measures include peer interaction, self-concept, leadership skills, family cohesion, participation in community service, and self-esteem.

The reason for all of this is because homeschool students are regularly engaged in social and educational activities outside their homes and with people other than their nuclear-family members.  They are commonly involved in activities as field trips, 4-H, scouting, church ministry, sports teams, and community volunteer work.

Worried that you cannot afford a high class expensive A+ rated curriculum due to financial stress??  Do not fret, studies have shown that  it does not matter the amount of money that you spend on your homeschool education.  Statistics show that a child learns the same academically whether you spend over $600 a year or less than $600 a year per child.
